BUSINESS AREA 4 – WORKFLOW SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION
Deliverables.
The Task Orders within the Workflow Support and Administration business area delivers the BPM workflow application configuration, maintenance and support services required for the HRDS business services. The primary tasks/deliverables will be:
- Design, maintain and update the BPM workflows used to support key core HRDS processes, including NPM (maintenance plan is created and the planned tasks completed according to the plan).
- Develop and generate database queries and reports in support of NATO-wide HRDS user community (response time is within 1 and 3 days).
- Support the data administration of HRDS (response time is within 1 and 3 days).
- Support the HRDS Business Support section in the collection of requirements from the user community and the formulation of requirements and specifications in relation to database operations (response time is within 1 and 3 days).
- Support HRDS fielding and acceptance tests, focusing on BPM workflow integration requirements and compliance (2 test events per year).
- Provide expert BPM workflow advice in support of the HRDS Helpdesk and on-site assistance to the users (response time is within 1 and 3 days depending on the priority).
- Perform workflow management for the HRDS systems, including back-up procedures and integrity checking (monthly highlight report).
- Advices and supports the HRDS Accounts managers related to BPM workflows roles and permissions (on demand, response time is within 1 and 3 days).
- Assist the HRDS Application Manager in all his/her duties (on demand as requested by the COTR).
- Conducts regular audits of HRDS workfloes, data and accounts to ensure correct usage and conduct (monthly audit reports).
- Assists, trains and supports HRDS Branch and the Task Order(s) within the BUSINESS AREA 3 – APPLICATIONS SUPPORT and DATA ADMINISTRATION in the use and configuration of the BPM workflow software.
- Assist the Task Orders in the BUSINESS AREA 5 - DATA PROTECTION, IDENTITY MANAGEMENT (DPIM), and PHYSICAL SECURITY by conducting forensic analysis on the HRDS systems’ workflows and transaction logs, and producing reports to support protection of Personal Data held in the HRDS workflows (monthly reports as required).
- Maintain and update the current library of HRDS BPM workflows across 4 networks.
- Estimate is also to produce 3-10 new workflows/year as required by the user communities.
Requirements
- REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE: NATO SECRET
Education/Training.
- University Degree; or Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 2 years’ post related experience; or a Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation in database administration with 4 years’ business area related experience.
- The above education requirements may be waived if a prospective incumbent can demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the last five years in the administration and programming of the current HRDS workflow software suite, including GENPACT PNMSoft’s Sequence™.
Professional/Experience.
- At least one year’s experience in the last three years with programming, configuring and support of GENPACT PNMSoft’s Sequence™ 8 or another similar Business Process (BPM) workflow application.
- At least two years’ experience as a SQL programmer/administrator working with MS SQL 2012 R2 or later with at least 1 year experience as a SQL 2012 R2 administrator or developer in the last three years.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the last five years in relational database management or design.
- At least 1 year’s experience in the last three years using BMC Remedy™ trouble ticketing System or equivalent centralised system.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the last five years using Microsoft’s SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) version 2012 or greater to design reports and extract information from multiple databases on different servers/clusters.
- At least one year’s experience in the last five years with design and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 or later sites.
- At least 6 month’s experience in the last five years in a position that required use of NATO’s Manpower Policy and Procedures, MC 216/4 (AAP-16D) or the use of similar International organisation/ governmental organisation Manpower Policy and Procedures.
- Language. Work will be conducted in English, both oral and written.
