As a (Junior) Sql Server Database Administrator (M/F), you provide assistance to our team working for one of our European International client in Luxembourg.

Your Missions / Profile:

• Administration of SQL Server databases from development to mission-critical production systems;
• Configure and maintain SQL Server database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security;
• Analyse and correct issues, providing problem resolution;
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues;
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems via On-call activities;
• Perform planned maintenance if needed;
  

Your profile/technical knowledge:

• You have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Master degree is an asset;
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2005, 2008, 2012 and 2016 on Windows platform is a plus;
• Knowledge on PowerShell, Ansible, Jenkins is an asset;
• Keen to learn other applications like Geographical Information System (GIS), SAP Business Intelligence, Qlik Sense;
• You have at least an intermediary level in English language. Any other language is a must;
• You are open-minded, problem-solver, with good communication skills;
• You are flexible, pro-active, structured and quality oriented;
• Team spirit is a strong requirement.
