Job Description
- System & operational support (50%)
- Develop process understanding and business knowledge to support the Business Process Owners in their development of enabling IT tools & applications
- Identify business needs with people in the organization and translate this from business requirements into functional system specifications
- Supports the end users on a daily basis, to ensure proactive problem detection and solving to cater for business continuity
- Support & maintain local Excel & Access based tools to improve insights and processes within the entire organization.
- EDI tracking & monitoring of performance, both from a system point of view and from a content point of view
- The OITS officer is an “authorized caller” that has a prioritized role towards our IT partners to log issues and track & push the solution of incidents
- Process & reporting support (30%)
- Participate in local & international business & IT projects to guarantee system & business process continuity.
- Ensure proper training development and delivery towards business partners on new/improved processes and system functionalities
- Actively make suggestions on possible improvements to realize higher efficiencies and improve working methods in all processes and systems within Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning
- Delivery of reports, queries and data to support business intelligence, with a focus on supply chain analytics
- Project management (20%)
- Leading & driving the delivery of various supply chain projects, mainly for the Belgian supply chain team and business units. Occasionally the OITS officer could be involved in international supply chain projects
- Managing the overall execution and on time delivery of a project, including milestone and resource planning
- The OITS officer is able to write Business Process Descriptions in order to provide input to the IT development teams and serve as a basis for training material
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 4 - 5 years of experience
- Educational and/or experience based background in supply chain management
- Written and spoken excellence in Dutch, English and French
- Experience with common ERP packages (preferably SAP: R/3, APO, CRM)
- Experience in both business and system process management and process improvement: “thinks process”
- Proven project management skills
- Drive to dig into the root cause of problems
- Strong analytical skills to run and build visually attractive and comprehensive reports
- Strong affinity with Excel and Access is a must
- FMCG background is an asset
